(Walk around video, car running, dyno pull at the end -> https://youtu.be/66e67MjuP88) This is an original body & interior 1999 Ford Saleen Mustang. Yes, it’s a real Saleen. I apologize to all of the Ford purists. It has a green title, never wrecked, etc. The original motor finally let go about 4 or 5 years ago. It sat for a year or two. I started putting together a motor for my 65 Chevy II which ended up in this car. The Mustang was totally gutted, leaving most of the interior and all of the body in tact and EVERY other part replaced with a brand new aftermarket part. Front and Rear Suspension, Rear Axle, Fuel Cell, Fuel System, Brakes, Engine, Transmission, Cooling System, etc. Literally EVERYTHING. The body is probably an 9 out of 10. Paint is probably a 7, There are a some stone chips on the front and a some spot where the clear coat has peeled, etc. Its 20 Years old but less than 50,000 original miles. The interior is missing the gauge cluster and is replaced by a Holley Dash. The center console now has a Hurst shifter in it, the radio and climate controls are missing as well. The rear seat is missing and has a nice delete kit. It has power windows, power seat, power locks. The windows have a nice tint to them. Its a head turner. Best part for me is that everything fits under the original flat hood! Here is a list of the new parts. I have found receipts for $48,000 and couldn’t find receipts for another $8,000+ worth of parts that are also listed. This isn’t including the value of the 50,000 mile Saleen Mustang. The engine was built by HPM, the turbos, hot and cold side including custom built headers and intercooler were built and installed by B3R. They built and assembled the majority of the car. The entire car had every wire removed and left only 1 small harness to the brake lights. It was professionally wired by Red Rock Performance. Once the installs were complete, B3R put this car on their chassis dyno and tuned it for pump gas (93) and made 900HP on just 12 #s of boost. They switched it over to C16 and kept increasing boost and timing to get me to 1200HP which is where I wanted to stop, I didn’t feel I needed it on the street and wasn’t sure the stock case turbo 400 would hold it. . It was just under 20 #s of boost. This thing is barely starting to take any timing or boost. B3R believes it would be able to make 1800+ to the tire. I didn’t want to push it past 1200HP because that’s where I felt comfortable with the rebuilt stock case Turbo 400 and I wouldn’t be able to use any more than that on the street anyway. This was built to be strictly a streetcar. It is setup to be a streetcar. No cage, No racing buckets. It has factory front seats, a rear seat delete, factory seat belts, etc. The only racing I intended on doing was a couple no time street car shootouts at a local track. The track closed at the end of last year unfortunately. I have only made five 1/8 mile passes at the track on wastegate spring pressure and about 500 street miles on this car. I acquired parts from 2016 to 2018 and it was finished with assembly in the early summer of 2018. It has sat in storage the entire year with the exception of one 50 mile cruise to support the race track.
